Below are the steps of putting a Kimono on a dolls: 

1) Put on the kimono, making sure the back seam is centered.

The length of kimono normally is made longer than the doll.

2) Pull up the kimono material so the length of the kimono is at the ankle.

3) Wrap the right side of the kimono over the body,

then overlap it with the left side. Just like a letter "Y"

4) Wrap the obi (wide belt) around the waist just above the folded line.

5) Place the accessories (colored rope with a knot) over the obi and tie at the back.

6) Finished !
